Growing up as a daughter of a well-respected attorney in Beaumont, Texas, Katherine realized at a young age how being in the legal profession can make a significant impact in a person’s life.

Coming from a small town, Katherine would often attend an event or go to a restaurant, only to be approached by different individuals who had previously been represented by her father. Their stories of the positive impact her father had on their lives instilled in Katherine the desire to become an attorney, so she too could help individuals who found themselves needing legal representation.

After attending law school, Katherine quickly realized the importance of diligence, dedication to the task at hand, and maintenance of a strong work ethic while handling each and every client’s case.

The legacy Katherine’s father, Mike Ramsey, has shown her has greatly influenced Katherine as a lawyer and as a daughter, sister and friend.

Katherine’s integrity and compassion for helping others is unsurpassed.

Katherine spent the first seven years of her law career at Mostyn Law, where she represented hundreds of individuals and businesses in lawsuits against their insurance companies for damages resulting from Hurricane Ike and various hail storms.

During all of these years gave Katherine truly make a difference in helping families repair their homes and helping businesses repair their buildings after devastating storm damage.

This valuable experience provided Katherine with the drive to further her career in helping people and will continue to have a lasting impact in her professional and personal life.

Katherine’s previous experience also includes clerking for Judge Gary Sanderson of Jefferson County, Texas and clerking for Robins Cloud L.L.P.

Katherine began working with her father at Ramsey Law in April 2016.
